Dream a Little Dream
We’ve been awfully serious lately here on the Beehive, haven’t we? Well, I thought I’d share this fun post with you all on this chilly (here in New York, anyway!) Tuesday afternoon: “If time and money were no object, and you had your passport in hand and someone to travel with you, what are the top 5 or 10 places in the world you would travel to and why?”
Mmm! Let’s daydream.
One response: “I did a report on Australia when I was in 5th grade and ever since then I have wanted to tour the entire country. This would probably take a few months to see everything I want to see.”
Um, this lady’s also dreaming about Ireland, an Alaskan cruise, Mayan, Aztec and Inca Ruins, and a beach vacation in Fiji! Yep, she’s going to be busy.
Another poster: “Venice, Italy-- I want to ride on a gondola with my sweetie.”
And: “I hope to some day travel to Seoul South Korea because I have been watching their TV shows for years and years now, actually know how to speak some of the language from watching so much, and have grown to love their customs.”
And: “ALASKA! I think Denali National Park would be a good place to start. And then I want to go salmon fishing with the bears. And then take a cruise in the Price William Sound.” Seems like a good plan to me.
That’s right, we’re headed all around the world. Me, I’ve got Japan on the brain. Yum.

I'd like to go anywhere WARM, not a war zone, and withOUT my husband and kids... Or maybe this is just what they call cabin fever.

It's dark and cold and there's a storm headed toward NYC and I've had enough of winter. Although I shouldn't complain - I haven't had to wear boots, yet! I'd love to be in California's wine country right now. I have no idea what the weather is but it has to be better than here!
I live in Arizona so I can't complain too much but I would love to go to Hawaii or Fiji. Or a cruise to anywhere warm and tropical. Mmmm cruise deserts are soo good.
I'd go to New York City and see all the Broadway shows. Who cares if it's cold there right now!
I'd like to see Key West. It's supposed to be like the Caribbean and a good place to go if you're gay. Maybe someday.
Aaaaaahhhh....seems like a good time to visit Australia. It's summer there, right? ;-)
I think first... Back to Jamaica. Then our list is as follows... Bora Bora, Ireland, Scotland, and Venice.
I would go to Italy. I always wanted to see what Italian people are talking about when they say the bluest sky and the freshest food. Plus I want to buy real Italian shoes.
Fiji (b/c it's so tropical and amazing), Hawaii (it's unique and islands have got to be fun), Spain (my long lost pal lives there and I want to brush up on my Spanish), New Zeland (it's a beautiful place and my friend lives there-he could show me around), and Austrailia (because it's so unusual and I want a pet kanga! haha). I would bring my daughter everywhere! She's the most fun!
